Changi Jurassic Mile

Is your kid a big fan of Jurassic Park/World? Do they simply just ADORE dinosaurs? Do they wish they could go back in time and visit the majestic prehistoric age to meet a dinosaur face-to-face? Even if the answer is no to all of the above, they are still going to love this unique and educational experience!

Introducing, Jurassic Mile! Singapore’s newest and biggest permanent outdoor display of 20 different life-sized dinosaurs, this includes a 5-meter tall dinosaur! The dinosaur-themed cycling and jogging track along the 3.5km Changi Airport Connector path links the Jewel Changi Airport to East Coast Park and the Park Connector Network (PCN). There isn’t an entry fee but if you're looking to go during the weekend, you’ll need to book a slot.

In addition to the original 20 dinosaurs, they have recently added 11 more brand-new ones at the Changi Airport Connector! Be on the lookout for the yellow 3.9 meter tall Tyrannosaurus Rex near the Terminal 4 slip road, the pink 3.5m-tall Diplodocus outside the VIP complex, and the adorable new batch of baby Pterodactyls at Changi Jurassic mile. Explore the trail and spot all the hidden displays like the gigantic dinosaur eggs (be sure not to disturb them or else angry momma dino will come running!), the gigantic Brontosaurus, and the feisty blue Velociraptors. Not only is the Jurassic Mile fun, but it’s also educational! There are informational panels scattered throughout the trail so your kids can learn about dinosaurs and have fun while at it. And to add to the whole experience, outdoor speakers play safari-theme music as you stroll or cycle through this Jurassic world.

If your kids are really young, you'll need to take into account the distance that needs to be walked to get there, plus the length of the trail itself. To get to the entrance of Jurassic Mile, you’ll need to walk a distance of 2km from the HUB & SPOKE car park to the start of the trail, which is 1km in itself. So, if you feel that you or your family won’t be able to walk this great distance, or just to add some convenience to your trip, consider bringing scooters or bicycles to ride.

Things to notes

There are a few ways to get to Jurassic Mile from the airport:

• You can drop off at the Terminal 4 bus stop and follow the signs to Jurassic Mile.
• If you're driving, you can park at Car park 4A or Hub & Spoke Car Park at Terminal 2 and follow the signs to Jurassic Mile. You can also rent a bicycle from HUB & SPOKE pit stop opposite the Hub & Spoke Car Park.
• Alight at Changi Airport MRT Station and follow the on-ground signs towards Terminal 2. From there, follow the signs to HUB & SPOKE and then onwards to Jurassic Mile. You can either walk or cycle from there - it's about 2km.
• To get to Jurassic Mile from East Coast Park, you can either walk, jog, or cycle. Head east from East Coast Park towards the National Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC) and the MOE Changi Coast Outdoor Adventure Learning Centre (MOE OALC). Once you pass the entrance to MOE OALC, you'll see on-ground signs for Jurassic Mile.
